How was I born? I don't remember. When? My mother said that on the 17-th of October. The feeling of myself as an artist person had come to me when I was 5 years old. I spent my childhood in a big and friendly family of my aunt. My sisters and brothers initiated concerts where I was a soloist standing on a chair. At that time I was "spoiled" by the sweetness of applauds.
I perfectly remember that when I was 9 years old I followed my grandmother's urgent request (she belongs to the famous Abay's kin) and entered the Republican music school named after A. Zhubanov. There I sang in a choir studied conducting. Oh, how I wanted to be like Alla Pugachova! Little by little, that wish disappeared and I can say that it was a merit of a great person, the national artist of USSR, professor of the Almaty State Conservatoire named by Kurmangazy -Bibigul Tulegenova. I was studying in her class. "You are Tolkyn Zabirova," - she said - "and you must sing like Tolkyn Zabirova". And I made it.
Variety... Stage... It always attracted me, fascinated with its brightness, bewitched with its rhythm and sound, filled with the breath of times. It bursted into my life like a song whirled with a lot of tours to several countries and took a great place in my life. At the same time I was taking a postgraduate course at the Kurmangazy State Conservatoire in Almaty, started teaching at the chair of vocal-teaching practice and career of the chamber genre singer at the Kazakh State Philharmonic Society named after Zhambyl.
The second half of 1990-s was marked with my winning of two international vocal competitions - "Amber nightingale" - Kaliningrad, 1996, and "The theatre of Alibek Dnishev" - Almaty, 1998.

Actually, there were much more participations and victories at international competitions. Gradually, She- a queen of contemporary rhythms took the reigns of my destiny. Today in my solo concerts I try to join the three vocal "whales" into one unity: the national song, as a foundation of all music that exists in the world, the classical creations - the best samples of lofty spirit, and, of course, the music-hall art - with its rhythm pulsation, which reminds everybody that "Life is wonderful, variable and mysterious! It is eternal charm and search!". I love it in all its manifestations.
Also, I can say that I like to cook "besparmak" and "manty" for my husband. I like to receive guests and wear beautiful dresses. But most of all in my life I like singing!!!
